The mentor capitalist’s role is to accelerate the performance of passionate entrepreneurs by complementing the domain knowledge of advisory board members and contact networks of venture or angel investors.

Acting as a “shadow executive staff”, multiple mentor capitalists work in a range of modes from advisor hotline to planned projects that require on-going involvement and commitment. By making a multi-year mentoring commitment, MCG can participate in a series of projects that are mutually developed with the Exec Staff and Board depending on the then-current critical success factors of the company. Applying our financial, sales, marketing, business development, and services expertise, we complement and develop executive staffs where open positions, experience gaps, or overload conditions exist. Combining our higher availability with our experience and track record of success in relevant and related businesses, MCG is able to establish a trusted authority relationship with an entrepreneur that is much different than the traditional fiduciary relationship with “board members” or “investors”.
